One of our friends ask us how Daniel did
We have no information of how each person did other than those who
qualified in the top 20.
Daniel had to say 30 passages in 10 minutes in the first round
and he said them all in 7 minutes. He also completed all 200 questions
in the written test

Bible Bee 2010 Update
Thanks for all your support and interest in the 2010 Bible Bee Finals in which Daniel, Alexander and Rachel took part today in Chicago.
They all did really well in the preliminary rounds this morning.
The top 15 semi-finalists were then announced at lunchtime and Alexander was ranked 7th after the preliminary rounds and so was able to take part in the semi-final this afternoon.
He made 5 perfect recitations in the 5 rounds and ended up ranked 6th overall. However, only the top 5 go through to tomorrows final.
No one is disappointed as there are no losers when it comes to memorising scripture.
There are also lots of treats for everyone with an ice cream social and a Seeds concert tonight with the lovely Rachel Harper singing on stage with Jason Hauser too!
Feel free to check our blog tomorrow http://chowfamilycalifornia.blogspot.com/ as Chi Wah will be putting on some Bible Bee photos tonight.
The finals should be worth watching live on the web tomorrow and are at the following times (2 hours earlier in California)
Primary Division (7-10 years of age): 1:00PM, CST
Junior Division (11-14 years of age): 2:30PM, CST
Senior Division (15-18 years of age): 4:00PM, CST
You may wish to connect 15 minutes ahead of time so that you don't miss any of the thrilling event.
Simply go to BibleBee.org, and look for the Nationals Webcast button on the homepage, or follow this link:

Please also keep the Harper family in prayer for the rest of their trip including their visit to the Feins in Maryland.

Stop Press - Stop Press - Baby Luke was born this morning - 10.10.10
Lisa gave birth to a lovely baby boy this morning at 10:41am.
He will never forget his date of birth 10.10.10. He obviously wanted that date
because he was two weeks early.
He weighed in at 6 lb. 3 oz. Mummy and baby are doing very well.
The Lord was gracious to Lisa - she had a wonderful delivery with no complications. The nurses and Dr Frields were amazing. Thanks to the Orgill's for looking
after the Children during the middle of the night and all today. Thanks for
everyone's prayers and support over the last few weeks.
Below are some pictures - I'll add more as soon as I can find time.
As you will see the Children are enjoying having a new brother.
Psalm 127:3-5a
Behold, children are a gift of the LORD; The fruit of the womb is a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, So are the children of one's youth. How blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them.
God be praised!!
By the way we will be calling him Luke.
